The Goonies
I don’t know how I missed this movie when I was a kid and I’m the lesser man for it. It is a very silly film about a group of misfit kids who go on a treasure hunt in order to rescue their homes from foreclosure and inadvertently stumble upon a gang of criminals. Certainly, I would have liked this movie better in my younger days, and would have forgiven the horrible editing job, yet I would still trade my kingdom for a sequel. And hey, most of the actors are still looking for work.

huh. I also recently saw this film for the first time. I was bored to tears.
Still, a sequel 20 years later with the same actors/characters might just be worth a watch.
Like maybe they took the loot, squandered it, still lost the house, and now they're all looking for work. Oh wait.
