...but I HATE the new colors/fonts/layout

Quit your bitching and start thinking about what you DO like. We have some flexibility here, so let's use it.

I'd like to keep the blog with a similar feel as the rest of the site (blacks and whites), but we can consider lots of options, like re-doing everything about the site. Obviously, the more we do, the longer it will take, but it's not like there is a deadline.

I plan to keep tweaking and playing with the look as I have spare time.

Feel free to offer (useful) suggestions.
