Goliath - Tom Gauld

Most people know the story of the great Philistine warrior, Goliath, and how he was defeated by the boy who would one day be king, David. Gauld retells this tale with a hilarious twist of Goliath being a nobody who is simply a pawn in a plan of psychological warfare. Very basically but beautifully drawn and briefly and wonderfully told with long periods of silence, it is elegant in its simplicity. I did think that it might be better to have just one more page, but maybe anything more would cut into the delight.
