X-Men: Curse of the Mutants - Victor Gischler

The first X-Men comic I ever read was when Storm gets assaulted by Dracula so it seemed like fun to read how an army of vampires attack the mutant's new island headquarters. Unfortunately, it was only mediocre relying too heavily on actions scenes that detracted from some vaguely interesting planning from the mutant leader Cyclops. Too many characters without a lot of care into making them interesting. The is also another volume that collects some of the side stories of this work but I couldn't care enough to get through that one.
