Colimbo Thumbnails pps. 28-33

Here's the thumbnails for pages 28-33 (keeping in mind that page numbers are a bit fluid). Click images to enlarge. We begin with Colimbo confronting Montressor at a restaurant. On the previous page, M expressed interest in the case.

may want more rambling, more paper shuffling. C should appear bumbling, but he's actually slowly driving his prey crazy. M is trapped by glass in foreground

again a sense of C being in charge of the situation and M as trapped

eating montage, although C doesn't actually eat his food. The covered soup suggests that C has this closed/wrapped up (in contrast to what is being said).

interlude

------------------------------------

I can't decide whether this page should be turned into several pages. I want a "thinking" montage of many of the things that C is considering in his pursuit. Smoke ties the images together. Also a little worried about having people bring evidence to C, as he should be the primary mover.

------------------------------------

M thinks he's gotten away, but he hasn't. C’s mouth getting closer/bigger, M getting smaller/further away. Mouth “swallowing” M. I'll adjust panels to accommodate text better

------------------------------------

This is the real moment when M’s lost it. Columbo has him, but now he’s getting M to walk into his trap. Pride goeth before the fall. This line reflects Fortunado's line from the original story.
