I don't know (or particularly care) about who this specific Baron Zemo is or how he got sent into the past. What I do care about is the good job Nicieza did having this former bad-guy descendant of other bad-guys jumping through time and meeting up with his ancestors. The story allows for Zemo to deal with his personal past through the actions of others and I enjoyed it. Artist Tom Grummett, while certainly good, did screw up a couple of times such as when Zemo narrates about severed heads clearly still attached to their bodies and there is an anachronistic cannon depicted in WWI (even put on the cover). There is also a veiled references made to the Red Skull that gave me a good chuckle.
