Rehabilitating Mr. Wiggles vol. III - Neal Swaab

What a great comic. Poorly illustrated with what I'm pretty sure are mostly cut and pasted images from a pool of maybe 20 pictures, the strip is about the author (a likable loser nerd) and his animated teddy bear, Mr. Wiggles, who is just the most repulsively evil degenerate. Its sickening humor usually has me rolling on the fall, laughing in puddles of my own vomit, and yet this volume didn't do much for me. I don't think I'm getting desensitized to the humor; it may be that most of the comics lack the truly disgusting level that made them great, and I also feel that many of the comic strips tend to go on for one line too many, dulling the impact.
