Captain America

A scrawny kid wants to sign up for WWII to help his country. Well, the good news is that they accept him, the ... other news... is that he is given a secret formula to turn him into a super soldier. Based on the comic book, the movie was OK, staying largely true to the original, throwing in a few scenes here and there to thrill the fan boys, but for the most part I felt it was simply done so that Marvel could add another piece of the puzzle in order to make The Avengers movie. BTW, isn't it odd that The Avengers comic rarely did very well, but it seemed super important to make a movie of it?
