Punisher Noir – Frank Tieri

Yet another addition to Marvel's Noir series, and the vigilante Punisher seems pretty ideal. Change some of the mobsters and Frank Castle's army training to WWI and you're set. Tieri has some interesting twists with these ideas and the story had potential. Sadly, it falls apart due to some ridiculousness (you'll know it when you see it), which I guess was good in that it took away from the occasional anachronisms (you have to wait for Vyachislav Molotov to enter the scene before you can call a gas bomb a molotov cocktail).
