Fables Vol. 10: The Good Prince - Bill Willingham

I love Fables, which is why it annoys me what I read a collection and think “Huh?” The Frog Prince returns, as a prince for a change and a very Christian adventure ensues. It’s not so much bad—for it isn’t—as it just makes you start to questions things. It has gotten to the point that ever collection seems to be another storyline about how the exiled fables living in our world in order to escape the horrors that have occurred in their own due to a tyrant find another weapon again the forces of evil. If there were this many magical equivalents to nukes the exiles would never had gotten into this mess, or stayed in it for so long, as they have. Oh, yeah, they’re all rich now too.
