Harry Dresden is a wizard who works for the Chicago PD as a consultant when the crime involves aspects of the supernatural. In comes Harry with his drum stick wand, hockey stick staff, ghost side kick, and an annoying inability to work anything too high tech. The books did well whereas the TV show flopped, and why? Maybe because it lacks all the elements of the shows it’s been compared to. Give it the dynamic of Mulder and Scully, the wit of Buffy, and the darkness of Angel and you would have had a second season.
