Define irony? A writer teaming up with his daughter to write a book about a girl whose writing is being done by her dad. That was a spoiler, sorry, I guess I’m a blabbermouth. This tries way too hard to be cool and real and fails. At one point it seemed that the secret was that the daughter was being sexually abused by the dad, which, at the time, seemed a bit heavy, but when the “real” “twist” was exposed I couldn’t care less and longed for the impact of my misread.
