At last year's MoCCA Art Festival I bought this little gem, which the title claims is the first volume. I'm hoping there is a second, because this comic gives readers a hilarious new perspective on some classic literature. In Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby writer RJ White and illustrator Edmund Osterman provide readers with a debate over the Eckleberg billboard. I've never read the Bronte Wuthering Heights, but White and Osterman's modern suburban version is a hoot. I can't wait for the second volume. Perhaps it's already out. White and Osterman's Classics Alive!: Volume 1 Minicomic work originally appeared at www.supermasterpiece.com.
