Center for Book Arts

As part of a library science school trip I went to The Center for Book Arts where Nancy instructed me how to make a little notebook by folding, sewing, gluing and cursing like a pirate (the last bit was my own personal flare). It was cool to actually create something and recognize how such a mundane item may be given a personal touch. Plus it was good to meet some fellow future and current librarians including David Kay the past president of Queens College’s LIS program. Many thanks to Jaz and Mi Hui for making it all come together, even if my notebook is more akin to a retarded post-it note.
