Sleeper – Ed Brubaker

This four-volume collection (which was pretty darn thin, WildStorm) that includes Out in the Cold, All the False Movies, A Crooked Line, and The Long Way Home, deals with a super powered secret agent who is sent deep undercover into a super powered terrorist group. The problem is that being so deeply embedded into a world of villains makes him indistinguishable from them. I certainly like the idea and it brings up interesting moral dilemmas of good and evil; however, I never cared too much for the characters and was annoyed by the dark coloring, which, in an attempt to be mysterious, simply made me feel that I was watching a show in color on a B&W television.
