I always wanted to be a fan of Hawkman and Hawkgirl as I thought they looked cool. Their angelic wings, barbaric weapons, and tough attitude made them so appealing. Unfortunately, no one ever wrote a story that captured my attention. And these are no different. The revamped (yet again) Hawkman fights crime in and out of a New Orleans stand in, dwells on his many past lives, and tries to get together with his reincarnated love, Hawkgirl, who is busy with her own plans of vengeance again the murderer of her parents. So much going on and yet it fails to hold my attention.
