Lost in Translation

Bill Murray unconvincingly plays an aging action movie star in Japan to promote a whiskey and inexplicably attracts the ubiquitously underwear clad Scarlett Johansson who plays an ignored wife. These two insomniacs wallow in their failed marriages and meaningless lives. Certainly there are moments that make the viewer reflects on the emptiness and loneliness of relationships, yet I cannot understand the films critical praise as it is drawn out and holds a paucity of humor. Perhaps Coppola\'s name pulled some strings.
