Paul Auster's City of Glass - Paul Karasik and David Mazzucchelli

I long to read Auster's novel after delving into this adaptation. The comic is a complex tale of Quinn, a writer with an empty soul, who inexplicable (to himself) accepts a wrong numbers plea for aid. Slowly, Quinn gets drawn into a world of mystery and ideas that devourers his life. Mazzucchelli's intense art and incredible layouts are magnificent to behold.
