This cartoon family is almost as dysfunctional as the Fox network which canceled it twice, only to bring it back for a third time. Every cartoon family needs one member to fulfill the ""over-the-top"" role. This group has several. The show has many elements that superficially resemble The Simpson's (idiot father, three kids with one being a baby, etc.), but has an insanity that is all its own (which may explain its erratic career). This is a great show for people in their teens and twenties, but it is best for the thirty something crowd that will revel in the references from before the generation gap.
