Sex, Lies & Superheroes - Constantine Valhouli

Constantine attempts to dissect and examine the very American medium of superhero comic books, comprehend their potential, and evaluate the criticism of the genre through a series of interviews with New York area (and those passing through that area) comic professionals. The documentary is very one sided--who in the field is going to degrade it? --and, unfortunately, the title (a joke idea of interviewee Frank Miller) gives a false impression as to the specifics of the film which, it turns out, provides little insight for the long time comic fan, and is unlikely to attract the non-comic book reading populous that the film is best suited for. I am uncertain how to rectify the dilemma, other than suggesting a more profound investigation to divulge why such a well-known art form is so undeservingly marginalized.
