Infinite Crisis – Geoff Johns

How do you rectify all the little issues Crisis on Infinite Earths didn’t solve? Take a solid concept of Crisis survivors attempt to restore the “best” Earth, throw in infinite gratuitous violence, stultify any burgeoning character development or poignant moments with shoddy writing and guest star overload and, presto, you have a mediocre story that accomplishes nothing. Voltaire wrote Candide to satirize Gottfried Leibniz’s philosophy that this world is the best of all possible worlds. Why can’t we just accept that nothing is going to be perfect and stop trying to work out ever kink?
