Proof of Concept by Larry Young and illustrated by a variety of artists is an anthology of sorts. Essentially, Young pitches a handful of comic book/movie ideas, and we get to view the concept over the course of a few pages: a zombie dinosaur, an invisible actress, time travel; all your favorites are here. The problem is that it's all idea and no development. No plot, no story, no character depth; there's really nothing here to latch onto or get excited about (maybe it isn't all that different from most comics or movies). I suppose if you like movie previews you'll like this anthology, but why would you pay to read it?
